Hola a tod@s!!
Chaqueta negra: SUNCOO PARIS
Vestido: TOMMY HILFIGER
Espero que os guste!! Muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios.
How was the weekend?
Today I show you my look for strolling around the city, comfortable with sneakers and trench.
Although it is still cold in Madrid, the new spring collection is already in stores and I could not wait to wear this trench which is easy to combine.
Jersey: Bimba y Lola
A few weeks ago I was at One Look Escuela, where I was invited to the Styling Workshop. Maria Montaña Redondo, etiquette expert, gives a three-hour workshop where you learn the keys to getting the best of your style and knowing what fits you best, adapting fashion trends to your style.
What do you think of today´s look? The next post will be from New York !!
Hi everyone! Last week the ASEDAI (the Spanish Association of Image Consultants) received the award ‘El Dedal de Oro‘ considered the Goya of the fashion world. An award given to personalities such as designers, publicists, and specialized journalists. During 2015, I have helped ASEDAI as their head of communication, and I am very pleased about this prize as a recognition of our work together.
And now for the look of the day, an outfit for the daytime that combines a black blouse and a jean skirt.
The blouse is from ZARA (new) and although it is long sleeved, the fabric is not thick.
The light blue jean skirt, with black leather on both sides, is from MANGO (vintage).
Gladiator sandals, very popular this summer, from ZARA from last year.
Glasses from PARFOIS, bracelet from UNO DE 50 and beach style bag you can find in stores that sell beach baskets.
Hi there!! Sunday is almost over, how quickly passes the weekend. How are your holidays? I am enjoying with my family these days before moving to Cape Town.
The principal of today´s look are this paisley pants that reminds me a lot of ETRO style, are from the brand Wonders of the World. I bought them a few months ago in a popup store in Madrid. The truth is they are very comfortable and casual so you can use it for a day look or for going to the beach with flip flops and a tank top.
The blouse is from ZARA and you can find it on sales as you see in the photo has details on cuffs and back with ethnic designs.
BALENCIAGA black leather bag with gold studs is a bag that I love because it is easy to match with any outfit.
As Accessories, VOGUE EYEWEAR SUNGLASSES, vintage black necklace and earrings from ARISTOCRAZY.
I hope you like today´s look, happy Sunday everyone !!
Hello!! How’s your summer going? I imagine that many of you have started your holidays, at the beach, in the mountains or just around the city enjoying a few days off. Next weekend we go to the south of Spain for a few days, and I will post from there including some recommendations about places to visit.
Today’s look is very summer, as I said in a previous post, at this time of year I love wearing super comfortable jumpsuits and long dresses for their boho style, ideal for summer.
I rescued this dress from two seasons ago, bought at ZARA and every year different stores sell similar dresses, being a basic in every wardrobe. On this beige color dress it’s easy to match with any sandals or wedges.
Added accessories are a brown leather belt and a vintage ethnic bag, also recovered from long ago.
Coral and beige CASTAÑER wedges.
For makeup I used these two new palettes, MAKE UP REVOLUTION with different shades for contouring blush and eye shadows.
I hope you like the outfit. HAPPY SUMMER!!
Hi! How’s your week so far?
I’m getting things organized for my trip to South Africa. In August we’re moving to Cape Town for five months. I’ve never been there but people tell me it’s a fantastic city. I am sure that the experience of living there will be unforgettable. Traveling and discovering new places are some of the best life offers, being exposed to different cultures and meeting new people. Through this website and in social networks @FriendlyMadrid I’ll tell you about my adventures, and my day to day and show you the famous city up close.
Meanwhile, I leave you with the look of the day.
In Summer we love to dress in white, in fact it is one of my favorite colors. The truth is that when you are tanned, white favors you (not me, I’m still in the process; p).
I am wearing a ZARA t-shirt (NEW), white skirt with wooden buttons STRADIVARIUS (NEW), CASTAÑER sandals (last year), clutch STELLA RITTWAGEN (NEW) and neckless LUXENTER (NEW).
What do you think about the look? If you have been in Cape Town all recommendations are welcome!
Thanks for reading and for sharing your comments.
Hi!! Here is a very comfortable look for today. With the hot summer weather I usually wear a jumpsuit, one piece and forget about complications of having to combine.
This jumpsuit with a tropical print is by Women’s Secret (NEW). I bought it before the sales for my trip to Mexico but maybe you can still find it at any WS store.
I recently saw Eva Gonzalez wearing this versatile jumpsuit for a presentation. Wear it to the pool with flip-flops or at night with high-heel sandals, a clutch and a jacket.
For a daytime look combine it with a crochet bag in beige and white, Ibiza style perfect for the summer months.
ZARA sandals (NEW) in beige, with small square heel and stone details on the front strip, very easy to wear.
To complete this outfit, a simple Playmobil LAF (NEW). Check out the collection. Very fun and different, with bracelets, pendants, earrings, keychains and recently presented ‘Morelia Rosa’ a new limited edition piece representing the snake of Playmobil ‘Treasure Island’ available exclusively at Isolée Madrid.
Hi!!! How was your weekend? It’s been a few days since I’ve made a post, since I’ve been on holiday. Those of you who follow me on social networks (@FriendlytMadrid) have already seen some photos of the trip, and very soon I’ll tell you more. :)
Today’s look is highlighted by these shorts by ZARA from last season. Initially, I thought I wouldn’t get much use from them since they are made of bright shiny leather, however, in reality they’re easy to match so easy to wear, even during the day.
I combined them with a check long sleeved blouse from MANGO, blue vintage belt and beige suede sandals from ZARA. Sunglasses by Jimmy Choo.
A few days ago I visited Privilege Dental at Lorena Morlote, Calle Velázquez, 69 Madrid and had my teeth whitened. The treatment consisted of 35% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes with instant results. It’s safe for your teeth and gums but you may notice temporary sensitivity.
It’s nearly summer but the weather has not been too hot. For these days that it’s more difficult to decide what to wear, where we still have to dress up but informal, here are a few suggestions.
A fine black sweater and jacket from MANGO.
Jeans from MET, an Italian firm that makes pants that fit great. You’ll love them!
Jimmy Choo inspired clutch from SUITE BLANCO just like the hat.
Black sunglasses by Vogue Eyewear. Available at Optica Roma, Madrid.
Wedges from Castañer in white and transparent, these sandals are really comfortable and go with everything, the only thing is the color, since they get dirtily easily.
And lastly, I wanted to show you this aquamarine neckless designed by Coral de la Croix that you can find in at Gilda´s Closet. Hand made with glass and metal, available as well in celestial and nude.
