Le Cocó, a new restobar offering Mediterranean cuisine has opened in Chueca by Esteban Arnáiz who is the owner of other successful restaurants in the capital, most recently Cien Llaves and Bon Vivant & Co.
A space with an original and cozy decor created by architect Marta Banus.
Rustic and industrial elements with large windows from the street.
Downstairs there is a room for private meetings and celebrations.
The cuisine by chef John Rioja is composed of simple and original dishes such as beet gazpacho with marinated anchovies, hummus with pita bread, burrata with olive oil or tempura asparragus with romesco sauce.
The main courses highlight a particular view of fish & chips or tuna tartare and avocado salad with tender shoots of lettuce.
For the sweet tooth, there are a variety of homemade cakes.
Delicious cocktails are prepared by expert bartender Doru Timocke such as Pisco Sours (pisco sour, egg white, lime and bitters).
