Happy 2016 to everyone, I hope you’ve started the year very well!!
Now I’m back in Madrid after starting the year in Paris. It’s great to be back in Spain with family and friends. Spending the last six months in South Africa was an incredible experience and I have only good memories of my time in Cape Town. Although I didn’t know at the beginning what it would be like to live there, Cape Town is a wonderful, cosmopolitan city and a great place to live. In addition to traveling to beautiful places and meeting amazing people, I had the opportunity to work at Condé Nast.
Just landed in Madrid now I am discovering new places that I highly recommend. I will tell you more about them in future posts and in social networks @FriendlyMadrid
Yesterday I was having breakfast in a new café, Fonty.
A couple of years ago the owners opened their first cafe in Calle Castelló,12 and recently opened another in Calle Juan Bravo, 41.
The decor is cozy and modern.
I highly recommend their cakes, my favorite is the classic butter croissant and intense crisp tart with lemon cream and Italian meringue. Spectacular.
For a winter day, I choose this look:
Caramel coat at Bimba y Lola.
Jacket Best Mountain.
Black suede fringed skirt ZARA.
Booties with studs on the heel ZARA.
Blue sunglasses Calvin Klein.
Bag Elizabeth and James at Net a Porter.
Tomorrow I’ll show you a new restaurant for brunch, very cool.

This fall Promod is inspired by the 60s, with sailors cuts, military trends and khaki tones.
Black is the strongest color combined with colorful clothes. Blue, red, orange and pink are the colors that stand out.
Thick coats and jackets are the new basics for day looks.
The Autumn Winter Promod collection also highlights short dresses, skirts and shorts.
The trench is the star item this fall.
And to protect us from the cold Promod proposes this black hat and leather gloves.
Do you like the Promod new collection?
Spring / Summer 2015 Roberto Torretta Collection is full of fresh air and new silhouettes that blend with a strong sense of craft.
Proportions are essential in this collection, and movement takes a leading role thanks to asymmetric and triangular cuts. The semi ruffles, and volume in the short dresses, tops and skirts, are the true novelty of this season. This trend is deployed to other garments apart at the seams of jackets, short and long sleeves, combined with extra-large pants.
In the selection of cotton fabrics Roberto Torretta combines pink crepe with blue silk, transparent embroidery to diffuse the figure. Floral motifs are also used as well as large blurred squares in black, mid gray, black and white digital prints and natural motifs.
For evening proposes fluid and stylized clothing, flared dresses.
We could not miss the material that makes the hallmark of Roberto Torretta: leather. This time the designer presented styles with volume and highlights palid tone.
The shoe collection, designed by Joaquim Ferrer exclusively for Roberto Torretta. Handmade leather shoes painted in terra-cotta tones and cocoa; heels with metallic appearance with crystals on velvet.
