Casa Decor is the interior and lifestyle exhibition reference in Spain.
This year Casa Decor celebrates its 50th edition. A total of 2.013 projects, 2.449 professionals have changed 241.736 square meters of a historic and unique building in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
Casa Decor displays real products placed in spaces decorated by top interior design professionals.
Some of the new features this year are located in the Malasaña, one of the most authentic historic neighborhoods of the capital and organizing cultural, social, informational and charity events.
Besides this edition they include an art gallery, where visitors can buy paintings, sculptures and photography of young artists and established artists.
Casa Decor Design Store, design objects for the home, performed by young promising designers.
Today the building belongs to the company Veganarcea that, following Casa Decor, plans to rent the property as offices.
The courtyard is covered by a glass structure, fastened by steel beams to create a large skylight that allows light to penetrate each floor.
On the third floor there is a terrace with balustrades, from the original remnants of the building, overlooking Calle La Palma.
Each floor of about 500 m2 has a different arrangement of spaces, but linked by a unifying element: the large central courtyard with skylight, recovered from the original structure, begins at the first floor and continues to the fourth floor.
